Olimpiu Teodorescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Giovanni Nóbrega made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Benê Amorim managed to get in a good position for a shot. Edson Futebol Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Benê Amorim was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ilie Brumaru breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 64th minute, Dan Alupulesei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 69thth minute of the game Hernani Matos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Cosula-BTF-'s Ilie Brumaru was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alberto Melo got his second yellow card in the match during the 70th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The Edson Futebol Clube fans cheered their team off the field, for while FC Cosula-BTF- had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
