Despite this Erich Pitten quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. SSV Ulm 1846's Erich Pitten played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dudley DeJesus in the 11th minute of play. 12 minutes into the game, SSV Ulm 1846's Miro Klose nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Iker Cristos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 17th minute, Edmundo Dobbins hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Iker Cristos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manfred Steiner, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Erich Pitten showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dudley DeJesus in the 24th minute of the match. Erich Pitten took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dudley DeJesus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Conakry FC's Iker Cristos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Conakry FC from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Manfred Steiner in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iker Cristos saved Conakry FC from getting behind. Manfred Steiner did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Iker Cristos 35 minutes into the match. Conakry FC's Iker Cristos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Conakry FC from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, SSV Ulm 1846's Manfred Steiner got a free kick in the 41st minute. In the 44th minute Andre Gray shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erich Pitten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Conakry FC booed when SSV Ulm 1846 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manfred Steiner didn't get a good kick on the ball. 47 minutes into the game, Holder Zocholl was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SSV Ulm 1846's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Conakry FC the free kick.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dudley DeJesus made a kick off. The supporters of Conakry FC booed when SSV Ulm 1846 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mykhaylo Mudryk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manfred Steiner scored 3-0 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Iker Cristos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Iker Cristos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manfred Steiner in the 60th minute of play. Iker Cristos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manfred Steiner in the 64th minute of the match. Iker Cristos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oskar Zimmert, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Conakry FC's Iker Cristos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Holder Zocholl in the 74th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manfred Steiner in the 75th minute of play forced Conakry FC's goalkeeper Iker Cristos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iker Cristos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manfred Steiner, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. After 81 played minutes SSV Ulm 1846 got a freekick which was hit by Luka Roth. After a rather tough play, Conakry FC's Robby Skaggs got a free kick in the 86th minute. Iker Cristos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manfred Steiner in the 90th minute of the match. 91 minutes into the match, Conakry FC's goal looked a bit too open when Holder Zocholl came free, but Iker Cristos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The SSV Ulm 1846 fans cheered their team off the field, for while Conakry FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
