Tomás Presebal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toninho Terra in the 3rd minute of play. In the 4th match minute, Correla q va en Chancleta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Godfredo Azevedo to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Toninho Terra in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tomás Presebal saved Correla q va en Chancleta from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Rockets's Róbson Messias slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tomás Presebal. That made the score 2-0 after 12 minutes of play. Benjamin Mazza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filiberto Birjaio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Correla q va en Chancleta's Tomás Presebal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Toninho Terra in the 19th minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Ulises Galo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benjamin Mazza. Rockets's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ulises Galo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 30th minute, Abelardo Rocha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 33rd minute, Ulises Galo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benjamin Mazza was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Thiago Silvan lost his temper 37 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Rockets fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 36th minute. Penalty! 38 minutes into the game, Severiano Urbasa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Benjamin Mazza was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 40th minute, Filiberto Birjaio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Correla q va en Chancleta getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Severiano Urbasa hit a great ball. After 44 minutes, Edgardo Cordaryal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Correla q va en Chancleta and the Rockets players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 44 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Correla q va en Chancleta! When the match had been going on for 46 minutes, Rockets's Júlio Pires got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Tomás Presebal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 3-3 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Róbson Messias stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Godfredo Azevedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 56th minute, Róbson Messias made a precise shot to the right of Tomás Presebal. Correla q va en Chancleta's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-3. 62 minutes into the game, Toninho Terra cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-3. Tomás Presebal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Benjamin Mazza was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ulises Galo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-5 in the 70 minute of play. In the 74th minute, Filiberto Birjaio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benjamin Mazza was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-6. When Godfredo Azevedo fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Correla q va en Chancleta's protests and gave Godfredo Azevedo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Correla q va en Chancleta getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Godfredo Azevedo hit a great ball. Róbson Messias scored 6-6 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tomás Presebal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 81 minutes into the game, Ulises Galo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-7. Benjamin Mazza was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Benjamin Mazza came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Correla q va en Chancleta's Filiberto Birjaio. But to his dismay, Filiberto Birjaio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-9. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filiberto Birjaio in the 93rd minute of play forced Rockets's goalkeeper Benjamin Mazza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
