Jon Haraldsson made in the 15th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Mark Dahlberg. Halcon Sport 69's Maureo Magdalena got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 20 minutes into the game, Taavet Rannik cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Tabby Leceta was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 25th minute, Maureo Magdalena made a precise shot to the right of Carl Utfal. Sonstorps Fotboll's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rune Tönnberg was the one to do the kick off. Tabby Leceta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jørg Heichendorff, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Maureo Magdalena recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Maureo Magdalena might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carl Utfal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Maureo Magdalena ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match had gone on for 96 minutes, Rune Tönnberg took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Tabby Leceta to make any attempt to save it. Sonstorps Fotboll played a much better game than Halcon Sport 69 and deserved their victory. The Halcon Sport 69 players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
