After the first half Futuros FC were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adolfo Lauro was the one to do the kick off. Dario Gutierrez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Agnaldo Brasil in the 85th minute. 87 minutes into the match, Edson Sousa dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dario Gutierrez, 1-6. The crowd rose to their feet as Futuros FC's Adilson Toledo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dario Gutierrez. That made the score 1-7 after 95 minutes of play. When the match was over Futuros FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Cascadia United throughout the match.
