After a rather tough play, Cascade Park West's Denis Marcus got a free kick in the 20th minute. After 27 played minutes Cascade Park West got a freekick which was hit by Barlas Aydın. Charles Knapp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adolfo Lauro in the 35th minute of play. Nemesio Raymond received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Charles Knapp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dario Gutierrez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Waldo Renteria in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 45thth minute of the game Adolfo Lauro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cascade Park West's Charles Knapp was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Charles Knapp came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Cascadia United's Nemesio Raymond. But to his dismay, Nemesio Raymond quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After the first half Cascadia United were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Waldo Renteria to strike the kick off in the second half. Charles Knapp made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adolfo Lauro in the 58th minute. 62 minutes into the match, Cascade Park West's goal looked a bit too open when Nemesio Raymond came free, but Charles Knapp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 67th minute, Waldo Renteria ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dario Gutierrez was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Cascade Park West's defense didn't have a chance, in the 69th minute, when Nemesio Raymond scored to the left of an out of position Charles Knapp, making the score, 1-2. Adolfo Lauro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Charles Knapp made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adolfo Lauro in the 74th minute of play forced Cascade Park West's goalkeeper Charles Knapp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adolfo Lauros short, quick shot in the 74thth minute got Charles Knapp to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Isaac Montxo hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. After 78 played minutes, Cascade Park West's Waldo Renteria shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dario Gutierrez came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cascade Park West reached it. In the 83rd match minute, Cascadia United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filomeno Suero to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marco Kimetz during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
