In the 3rd minute, Augusto Gaitan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Villa Mitre fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Niclas Rydberg got free with Roman Montez in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 9th match minute, Villa Mitre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Americo Jerardo to maneuver through the defense. Roman Montez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfons Levander in the 11th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Alfons Levander managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jonstorp FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfons Levander was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roman Montez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lars Rosén to make the kick off. In the 54th match minute, Jonstorp FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lars Rosén to maneuver through the defense. When Alfons Levander came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Jonstorp FK fans jumped to their feet.
