After 6 minutes of play, Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's Santiago Luzano made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tomás Calixto was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Santiago Luzano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's supporters rose to their feet, but Santiago Luzano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tomás Calixto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tomás Calixto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santiago Luzano, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Santiago Luzano struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Tomás Calixto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Dep. Soc. Rodo. In the 19th minute, Justino Raulo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's Fidensio Cimas got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Santiago Luzano might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tomás Calixto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Santiago Luzano ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 25th minute Santiago Luzano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomás Calixto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 27 played minutes Road To Glory got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Gaspard. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santiago Luzano in the 28th minute of play forced Road To Glory's goalkeeper Tomás Calixto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 30 minutes had been played when some careless play by Road To Glory's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Manex Pajazo was slow to take the kick. During this time Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's players had a chance to rest. Road To Glory's Tomás Calixto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santiago Luzano in the 34th minute of play. Santiago Luzano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 41 played minutes Road To Glory got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Gaspard. In the 44th minute, Manex Pajazo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Santiago Luzano charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Santiago Luzano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Road To Glory booed when Club Dep. Soc. Rodo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santiago Luzano didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Santiago Luzano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Santiago Luzano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tomás Calixto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. Santiago Luzano might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tomás Calixto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Santiago Luzano ran back to his position shaking his head. Road To Glory's Tomás Calixto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santiago Luzano in the 63rd minute of play. Leonardo Gaspard hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. In the 69th minute, Fidensio Cimas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tomás Calixto was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Santiago Luzano took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tomás Calixto. Tomás Calixto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. An unexpected shot in the 77th minute by Hipolito Foro got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Santiago Luzano in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tomás Calixto saved Road To Glory from getting behind. In the 80thth minute of the game Santiago Luzano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Road To Glory's Tomás Calixto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 80 played minutes Road To Glory got a freekick which was hit by Haroldo Tonio. The audience was convinced that Santiago Luzano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tomás Calixto was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. Leonardo Gaspard made in the 86th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Javier Atauri immediately put the ball in play. Tomás Calixto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Santiago Luzano's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. When Laffitte Camino fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's protests and gave Laffitte Camino a yellow card for diving instead. In the 94th match minute, Club Dep. Soc. Rodo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laffitte Camino to maneuver through the defense. Manex Pajazo hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
