The Marzagão fans' excitement grew in the 15th match minute when Marzagão's Pedro Toledo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The supporters of Road To Glory booed when Marzagão was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Betão Tinoco didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Toledo in the 22nd minute of play forced Road To Glory's goalkeeper Tomás Calixto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 24 minutes had been played when some careless play by Road To Glory's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Betão Tinoco was slow to take the kick. During this time Marzagão's players had a chance to rest. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Prado in the 25th minute of play forced Road To Glory's goalkeeper Tomás Calixto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alberto Prado took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tomás Calixto. Tomás Calixto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Mané Pinho didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 30th minute, which inside left pole to 1-3. A collision led to Road To Glory getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Leonardo Gaspard hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Betão Tinoco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marzagão's supporters rose to their feet, but Betão Tinoco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tomás Calixto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 42 minutes into the match, Road To Glory's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Toledo came free, but Tomás Calixto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45th minute, Tobias Mambru got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Road To Glory's Tobias Mambru got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The wind increased when Pedro Toledo made the kick off in the second half. Mané Pinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Beltran in the 51st minute of the match. A collision led to Road To Glory getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Leonardo Gaspard hit a great ball. Pedro Toledo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Road To Glory's Tomás Calixto got control of the ball when Pedro Toledo tried to sneak it across the goal line. 67 minutes into the game, Dagoberto Fantini was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Marzagão's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Road To Glory the free kick. After 67 played minutes Marzagão got a freekick which was hit by Dagoberto Fantini. In the 68th minute of the match Leonardo Gaspard sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mané Pinho skillfully saved the ball. Alberto Prado blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tomás Calixto having to make a save. Pedro Toledo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 84 minutes into the game, Hipolito Foro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Road To Glory's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Marzagão the free kick. Hipolito Foro kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Road To Glory's Tomás Calixto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Prado in the 93rd minute of play. The supporters of Marzagão booed when Road To Glory was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hipolito Foro didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Marzagão walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
