An unexpectedly hard shot by Lenílson Velasco in the 33rd minute of play forced Black Sails's goalkeeper Nestor Ongile to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tang Quan Yan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodrigo Berriotxoa, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. In the 48th minute, Cipriano Maxin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Cipriano Maxin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Black Sails's supporters rose to their feet, but Cipriano Maxin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pinheiros Capibaras FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lenílson Velasco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nestor Ongile came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Pinheiros Capibaras FC's Lenílson Velasco. But to his dismay, Lenílson Velasco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1.
