Spectators: 7487 (Terracing: 5616, Seating: 1722, VIP seats: 149) 3 minutes into the match, Falcão Gaspar notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Pinheiros Capibaras FC's Tang Quan Yan. Tang Quan Yan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 5 played minutes Pinheiros Capibaras FC got a freekick which was hit by Benedito Trevisan. João Francisco Leal kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Roman Pavlyuchenko missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 12 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Teodoro Meireles right hand side. Benedito Trevisan hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. After 17 minutes Pinheiros Capibaras FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Renatinho Reis who took care of the corner kick. When Lenílson Velasco came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Pinheiros Capibaras FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lenílson Velasco couldn't finish the play. Bandeirinha AD's Ramiro Coutinho got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 28 played minutes Bandeirinha AD got a freekick which was hit by Frank Koehler. Jhonny Rabelo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodoro Meireles having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Falcão Gaspar in the 41st minute of play forced Pinheiros Capibaras FC's goalkeeper Tang Quan Yan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jhonny Rabelo hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Teodoro Meireles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lenílson Velasco in the 46th minute of the match. Lenílson Velasco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodoro Meireles having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Falcão Gaspar to make the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benedito Trevisan during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Bandeirinha AD getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Washington Valadares hit a great ball. After having played for 68 minutes, Ramiro Coutinho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bandeirinha AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ramiro Coutinho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Codruț Luncașu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Bandeirinha AD's zone, Tostão Corrêa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teodoro Meireles came out of the goal and Tostão Corrêa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 81st minute, Tostão Corrêa made a precise shot to the right of Teodoro Meireles. Bandeirinha AD's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. After a defensive mix-up in Bandeirinha AD's zone, Dieguinho Bezerra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teodoro Meireles came out of the goal and Dieguinho Bezerra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bandeirinha AD's Teodoro Meireles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jhonny Rabelo in the 86th minute of play. 87 minutes in the game, Codruț Luncașu fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Teodoro Meireles having to interfere. Tang Quan Yan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramiro Coutinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jhonny Rabelo in the 93rd minute of play forced Bandeirinha AD's goalkeeper Teodoro Meireles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 94 played minutes Bandeirinha AD got a freekick which was hit by Renatinho Reis. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Pinheiros Capibaras FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
