The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6thth minute of the game Joakim Sandberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bandeirinha AD's Teodoro Meireles was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 9 minutes into the match, Joakim Sandberg notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Bandeirinha AD's Teodoro Meireles. Teodoro Meireles was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 11th match minute, Bandeirinha AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Francisco Leal to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joakim Sandberg in the 15th minute of play forced Bandeirinha AD's goalkeeper Teodoro Meireles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 17 minutes of play, Lost Boys Sports Academy's Eskil Trulsson made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Teodoro Meireles was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 21st minute Joakim Sandberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodoro Meireles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teodoro Meireles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joakim Sandberg in the 23rd minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Joakim Sandberg put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Teodoro Meireles. 33 minutes into the game, João Francisco Leal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bandeirinha AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lost Boys Sports Academy the free kick. João Francisco Leal hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Teodoro Meireles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joakim Sandberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th minute Lost Boys Sports Academy were awarded a corner. Eskil Trulsson went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Rikard Månsson almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Bandeirinha AD's Teodoro Meireles did a great save. After a defensive mix-up in Bandeirinha AD's zone, Patrik Lang stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teodoro Meireles came out of the goal and Patrik Lang tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joakim Sandberg in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Teodoro Meireles prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Teodoro Meireles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matt Hughes in the 41st minute of play. Teodoro Meireles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joakim Sandberg in the 45th minute of the match. After the first half Lost Boys Sports Academy were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Joakim Sandberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Teodoro Meireles. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joakim Sandberg ran back to his position shaking his head. After 59 minutes, Eskil Trulsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lost Boys Sports Academy and the Bandeirinha AD players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 59th minute, Eskil Trulsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joakim Sandberg scored 0-6 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Teodoro Meireles, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Joakim Sandberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Teodoro Meireles was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joakim Sandberg got free with Teodoro Meireles in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Lost Boys Sports Academy getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Matt Hughes hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joakim Sandberg got free with Teodoro Meireles in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 91 played minutes Lost Boys Sports Academy got a freekick which was hit by Georg Stenquist. Sten Sture showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramiro Coutinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. The supporters of Bandeirinha AD booed when Lost Boys Sports Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joakim Sandberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Bandeirinha AD fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Lost Boys Sports Academy were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
