Jan-Åke Nordlander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rüknettin Topuz, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. If Doctor Özcakir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as FF Små Gröna Män's Ian Ahlbom slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Emirhan İzzet. That made the score 1-0 after 12 minutes of play. In the 14th minute Rüknettin Topuz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan-Åke Nordlander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Lions Of Turks's Emirhan İzzet got control of the ball when Kurt Majman tried to sneak it across the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, Lions Of Turks's goal looked a bit too open when Jan Larsson came free, but Emirhan İzzet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jan-Åke Nordlander came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Lions Of Turks's Rüknettin Topuz. But to his dismay, Rüknettin Topuz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 47th minute Doctor Özcakir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan-Åke Nordlander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Rüknettin Topuz made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan Larsson in the 51st minute of play forced Lions Of Turks's goalkeeper Emirhan İzzet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Lions Of Turks's Rüknettin Topuz got a free kick in the 54th minute. 69 minutes into the match, FF Små Gröna Män's goalkeeper Jan-Åke Nordlander had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rüknettin Topuz. Lions Of Turks's Emirhan İzzet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stig Käller in the 72nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Kurt Majman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emirhan İzzet was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. Emirhan İzzet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ian Ahlbom, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 92nd minute, Fabian Ingemarsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mehmet Osman Bayraktaroğlu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jan-Åke Nordlander having to make a save. After 96 played minutes Lions Of Turks got a freekick which was hit by Mehmet Osman Bayraktaroğlu. FF Små Gröna Män were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Lions Of Turks to leave the ground with a draw.
