In the 24th minute, André Holm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cecilio Quinteros in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jan-Åke Nordlander prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jan Larsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gervasio Larra. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jan Larsson ran back to his position shaking his head. Ian Ahlbom kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. In the 45th minute of the match Cecilio Quinteros sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jan-Åke Nordlander skillfully saved the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

52 minutes into the game, Kurt Majman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Gervasio Larra was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, FF Små Gröna Män's Filiph Giliusson got a free kick in the 55th minute. When FF Små Gröna Män's Jan Larsson in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Deportivo Messina's Gervasio Larra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stig Käller in the 72nd minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, Jan Larsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gervasio Larra. Deportivo Messina's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jan Larsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Jan Larsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Gervasio Larra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 83 minutes into the match, FF Små Gröna Män's goalkeeper Jan-Åke Nordlander had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cecilio Quinteros. A collision led to Deportivo Messina getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Cecilio Quinteros hit a great ball. Jan Larsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Gervasio Larra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FF Små Gröna Män's Jan Larsson got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 96 minutes, Kurt Majman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FF Små Gröna Män's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kurt Majman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. FF Små Gröna Män had won after a very even match.
