The corner went over the outstretched arms of Sangue nos Zóio's goalie and right to Baltasar Verges. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Sangue nos Zóio's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After 13 played minutes PreservemospolladeaguaFC got a freekick which was hit by Eladio Galego. Sangue nos Zóio's Nelsinho do Vale managed to work through PreservemospolladeaguaFC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Nelsinho do Vale dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. In the 17th minute, Nelsinho do Vale ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Esteve Silva was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 19 played minutes PreservemospolladeaguaFC got a freekick which was hit by Baltasar Verges. In the 23rd minute Nelsinho do Vale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteve Silva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ekain Esperta kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. With 32 minutes on the clock, Poncio Gala commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 32 minutes into the game, one of PreservemospolladeaguaFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 34 minutes had been played when some careless play by PreservemospolladeaguaFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Edgar Freire was slow to take the kick. During this time Sangue nos Zóio's players had a chance to rest. Edgar Freire made a great header on Sangue nos Zóio's corner, it was just that PreservemospolladeaguaFC's Esteve Silva managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 37th minute, Ekain Esperta reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Antônio Carlos Leme. The goal made the score 1-1. The PreservemospolladeaguaFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Sangue nos Zóio were winning 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ekain Esperta stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Felippe Couto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sangue nos Zóio's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave PreservemospolladeaguaFC the free kick. A collision led to Sangue nos Zóio getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Felippe Couto hit a great ball. Esteve Silva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgar Freire, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 56th minute, Baltasar Verges made a precise shot to the right of Antônio Carlos Leme. Sangue nos Zóio's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Sangue nos Zóio's Igor Rocha got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cristobal Garcia hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Sangue nos Zóio's Telmo Zanette was substituted for Felippe Couto. After 69 played minutes, Sangue nos Zóio's Edgar Freire shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Esteve Silva came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sangue nos Zóio reached it. If Dudu Hermes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 73 minutes into the game, Edgar Freire recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Esteve Silva. Edgar Freire showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. Esteve Silva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgar Freire, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. After 78 played minutes Sangue nos Zóio got a freekick which was hit by Edgar Freire. Ekain Esperta hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Esteve Silva was a little too slow when Edgar Freire got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 84th minute. The score was now 2-4. After having played for 89 minutes, Nelsinho do Vale managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sangue nos Zóio's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nelsinho do Vale was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nelsinho do Vale could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Esteve Silva made a huge save. The PreservemospolladeaguaFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Sangue nos Zóio's performance. The match ended with a win for Sangue nos Zóio.
