Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hugo Gijselinx in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Romeu Donato prevented the ball from getting in the gole. KV Schoonwater's Luke Scheerens proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save KV Schoonwater from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Birger Axelsson in the 22nd minute of play forced Família Ressaca MZ's goalkeeper Romeu Donato to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luke Scheerens made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luiz Fábio Lopez in the 23rd minute. Bernardinho Vieira kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diedrik Morreels in the 31st minute of play forced Família Ressaca MZ's goalkeeper Romeu Donato to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Hugo Gijselinx made the kick off in the second half. Anísio Sampaio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luke Scheerens read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. Juninho Urbano hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, KV Schoonwater's Zhuang Qing Chao tried to score from far away in the 64th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 69th minute Axell De Ketelaere shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romeu Donato saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 70 minutes into the match, Família Ressaca MZ's goal looked a bit too open when Diedrik Morreels came free, but Romeu Donato reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Durval de Medeiros hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Hugo Gijselinx in the 81stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Romeu Donato, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Romeu Donato showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Birger Axelsson in the 82nd minute of the match. 84 minutes had been played when some careless play by Família Ressaca MZ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Zhuang Qing Chao was slow to take the kick. During this time KV Schoonwater's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on KV Schoonwater's corner Zhuang Qing Chao fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Romeu Donato quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diedrik Morreels in the 85th minute of play forced Família Ressaca MZ's goalkeeper Romeu Donato to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Romeu Donato didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hugo Gijselinx went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. The Família Ressaca MZ supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching KV Schoonwater's performance. The match ended with a win for KV Schoonwater.
