Mellansels stationsgäng's Bengt-Åke Wassenius pulled a muscle in his back after 4 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Edinho Tróia's late challenge caught a Mellansels stationsgäng's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edinho Tróia helped the player get up and apologised. In the 4th minute, Edinho Tróia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 5 played minutes, Mellansels stationsgäng's Simon Hägert shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Antônio Carlos Leme came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mellansels stationsgäng reached it. 6 minutes into the game, Simon Hägert was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mellansels stationsgäng's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sangue nos Zóio the free kick. In the 7th minute of the match Dudu Hermes sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fredrik Almqvist skillfully saved the ball. Fernandão Catarinense hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. In the 14th minute Simon Hägert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antônio Carlos Leme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bengt-Åke Caspersson took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Antônio Carlos Leme. Antônio Carlos Leme dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 26th minute, Mellansels stationsgäng's Joar Ahlrot seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Joar Ahlrot the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Mellansels stationsgäng protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Joar Ahlrot had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 26 played minutes Mellansels stationsgäng got a freekick which was hit by Joar Ahlrot. In the 27th minute of the match, Edgar Freire tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Fredrik Almqvist saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 34 played minutes Mellansels stationsgäng got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Bolin. Antônio Carlos Leme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Bolin in the 36th minute of the match. Sebastian Bolin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antônio Carlos Leme having to interfere. When Acácio Fernandes fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sangue nos Zóio's protests and gave Acácio Fernandes a yellow card for diving instead. After some careless play in the Sangue nos Zóio defense, Sebastian Bolin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Antônio Carlos Leme. The Sangue nos Zóio fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Antônio Carlos Leme should have stopped the shot. 44 minutes into the match, Mellansels stationsgäng's goalkeeper Fredrik Almqvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nelsinho do Vale. The Sangue nos Zóio players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Mellansels stationsgäng were winning 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nelsinho do Vale stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sangue nos Zóio's Antônio Carlos Leme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bengt-Åke Caspersson in the 51st minute of play. Dudu Hermes kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Antônio Carlos Leme made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Bengt-Åke Caspersson sent off a good shot on target. Sangue nos Zóio's Edinho Tróia got his second yellow card of the match in the 61st minute. The referee ordered Edinho Tróia off the ground. A collision led to Sangue nos Zóio getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Edinho Tróia hit a great ball. After having played for 64 minutes, Nelsinho do Vale managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sangue nos Zóio's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nelsinho do Vale was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sangue nos Zóio's Emílio Andrade was substituted for Igor Rocha. The supporters of Mellansels stationsgäng booed when Sangue nos Zóio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgar Freire didn't get a good kick on the ball. Antônio Carlos Leme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Bolin in the 80th minute of play. Dudu Hermes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nelsinho do Vale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Fredrik Almqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emílio Andrade struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Fredrik Almqvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sangue nos Zóio. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
