The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Radowit Mondrowski hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. In the 9thth minute of the game Iwo Dziedziak who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Twierdza Wroclaw's Boguslaw Ziemba was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Iwo Dziedziak got free with Boguslaw Ziemba in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 18th minute, Marian Okopny got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee gave Twierdza Wroclaw a penalty, 26 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Marian Okopny, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Modlau's Lukasz Traczewski. 0-2. Twierdza Wroclaw's Cyryl Kossakowski got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lukasz Traczewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zbyszek Mnich in the 32nd minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Twierdza Wroclaw's goal looked a bit too open when Walery Rekawiczka came free, but Boguslaw Ziemba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Twierdza Wroclaw booed when Modlau was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zlatin Ibrahimović didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zbyszek Mnich received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Lukasz Traczewski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Modlau booed when Twierdza Wroclaw was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tytus Zieba didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zlatin Ibrahimović in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Boguslaw Ziemba saved Twierdza Wroclaw from getting behind. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zbyszek Mnich to make the kick off. With a little luck, Modlau's Lukasz Traczewski got control of the ball when Marian Okopny tried to sneak it across the goal line. Czeslaw Miecznikowski hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Zbyszek Mnich kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lukasz Traczewski. That made the score 0-3 in the 56 minute of play. If Marian Okopny had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Modlau's Czeslaw Miecznikowski got a free kick in the 61st minute. Marian Okopny who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 62ndth minute tested the skills of Lukasz Traczewski when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 67 minutes into the match, Twierdza Wroclaw's goal looked a bit too open when Zlatin Ibrahimović came free, but Boguslaw Ziemba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lukasz Traczewski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cyryl Kossakowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Twierdza Wroclaw's Marian Okopny got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 82nd minute, Lucjan Rosiewicz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Twierdza Wroclaw played a much better game than Modlau and deserved their victory. The Modlau players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
