Spectators: 7467 (Terracing: 5601, Seating: 1717, VIP seats: 149) Antonio Vieri started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wesley Mangueira in the 3rd minute of play forced CLC Winter's goalkeeper Franco Bosso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to CLC Winter getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Angelo Pacella hit a great ball. If Zé Pedro Pinheiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 8th match minute, Carrossel Caipira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samuca Trigo to maneuver through the defense. In the 14th minute, CLC Winter's Antonio Vieri dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Alberigo Falasca hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wesley Mangueira in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Franco Bosso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Wesley Mangueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Franco Bosso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edinho da Rocha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonio Vieri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edinho da Rocha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antonio Vieri, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. After 38 minutes, Damiano Di Placido mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CLC Winter and the Carrossel Caipira players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 38 played minutes CLC Winter got a freekick which was hit by Damiano Di Placido. The referee gave Carrossel Caipira a penalty, 40 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Samuca Trigo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of CLC Winter's Franco Bosso. 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wesley Mangueira made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wesley Mangueira in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Franco Bosso saved CLC Winter from getting behind. Wesley Mangueira hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Damiano Di Placido was shown his second yellow card after 60 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, CLC Winter's Damiano Di Placido got a free kick in the 60th minute. Franco Bosso made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Wesley Mangueira sent off a good shot on target. Zé Pedro Pinheiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Samuca Trigo kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. In the 68th minute, Armando Melis sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Carrossel Caipira's Edinho da Rocha didn't even have to move. The supporters of Carrossel Caipira booed when CLC Winter was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelo Pacella didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wesley Mangueiras short, quick shot in the 71stth minute got Franco Bosso to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 72 minutes had been played when some careless play by CLC Winter's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Samuca Trigo was slow to take the kick. During this time Carrossel Caipira's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Zé Pedro Pinheiro got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Franco Bosso quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The audience was convinced that Wesley Mangueira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Franco Bosso was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. Franco Bosso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Pedro Pinheiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Antonio Vieri scored 3-2 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edinho da Rocha, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 87th match minute, CLC Winter was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelo Pacella to maneuver through the defense. 90 minutes into the game, Cristoforo Balboni cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Edinho da Rocha was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. There was no doubt that CLC Winter were the better team. CLC Winter's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
