The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Clinton Rushing hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Balkes FC's Xamo Viladrosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Berto in the 7th minute of play. In the 15th minute Iván Sotomayor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severo Elequemedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xamo Viladrosa was a little too slow when Rafael Santos Borré got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 18th minute. The score was now 1-0. Balkes FC were furious when Mikeldi Barzana was red carded, 21 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Balkes FC's Xamo Viladrosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alejo Loren in the 23rd minute of play. Xamo Viladrosa came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's Rafael Santos Borré. But to his dismay, Rafael Santos Borré quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Xamo Viladrosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adolfo Millano in the 32nd minute of play. In the 36th minute Adolfo Millano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xamo Viladrosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Sebastian Berto fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's protests and gave Sebastian Berto a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Balkes FC booed when A.D Atlético Villa Gesell was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Berto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sebastian Berto was shown his second yellow card after 40 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Sebastian Berto hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. When Iván Sotomayor fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Balkes FC's protests and gave Iván Sotomayor a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Balkes FC's Iván Sotomayor got a free kick in the 41st minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adolfo Millano made a kick off. 63 minutes into the game, A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's Rafael Santos Borré nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Xamo Viladrosa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. A collision led to Balkes FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Fernado Mendivil hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Adolfo Millano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Xamo Viladrosa was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Balkes FC's zone, Adolfo Millano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xamo Viladrosa came out of the goal and Adolfo Millano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 73rd match minute, Balkes FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olivar Regulez to maneuver through the defense. The attack was good, but when Adolfo Millano in the 74th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 83rd match minute, Balkes FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zacarias Sambrano to maneuver through the defense. Zacarias Sambrano hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. In the 90th minute, Calle Lindström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adolfo Millano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xamo Viladrosa having to interfere. Adolfo Millano might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Xamo Viladrosa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adolfo Millano ran back to his position shaking his head. There was no doubt that A.D Atlético Villa Gesell were the better team. A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
