Jagiellonia Denver's supporters crossed their fingers, but Trenton Warren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roch Covington in the 88th minute of play forced Auriolam II C.F.'s goalkeeper Andrei Quijana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Jagiellonia Denver booed when Auriolam II C.F. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustavo Blazquez didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 91st minute Trenton Warren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrei Quijana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Trenton Warren came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Jagiellonia Denver fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Trenton Warren couldn't finish the play.
