Seating: 1727, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Trenton Warren kicked off to start the match. Percy Reis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Trenton Warren, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Roch Covington blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Percy Reis having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Jagiellonia Denver's Kelly Medeiros got a free kick in the 14th minute. Antonio Grossman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from André Luís Trigo went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 18th minute, Jagiellonia Denver's Roch Covington ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Percy Reis. Percy Reis yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. In the 21st minute, André Luís Trigo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Antonio Grossman was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 24th minute, André Luís Trigo made a precise shot to the right of Antonio Grossman. Jagiellonia Denver's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Eriberto Esteves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Antonio Grossman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers André Luís Trigo in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Antonio Grossman saved Jagiellonia Denver from getting behind. In the 39th minute Bryon Hendrix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Percy Reis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Jagiellonia Denver's Edison Lam got a free kick in the 42nd minute. In the 43rd minute of the match Clóvis das Neves sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Antonio Grossman skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Trenton Warren in the 48th minute of play forced Botafogo AP's goalkeeper Percy Reis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

In the 74thth minute of the game Trenton Warren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Botafogo AP's Percy Reis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Botafogo AP's Dagoberto Paulista was substituted for Agnaldo de Godoi. Percy Reis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roch Covington in the 82nd minute of the match. Percy Reis came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Jagiellonia Denver's Roch Covington. But to his dismay, Roch Covington quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Antonio Grossman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Luís Trigo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When André Luís Trigo came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Botafogo AP fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that André Luís Trigo couldn't finish the play. Roch Covington fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Percy Reis having to interfere. In the 94th minute Bryon Hendrix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Percy Reis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Botafogo AP left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Jagiellonia Denver.
