The tension between the Botafogo AP and the 常州飞鹰俱乐部队 players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 22 played minutes Botafogo AP got a freekick which was hit by Eriberto Esteves. In the 23rd minute, André Luís Trigo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 25th minute 鲁鸿适 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Percy Reis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Botafogo AP's goal looked a bit too open when 鲁鸿适 came free, but Percy Reis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ragnar Ström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Luís Trigo in the 32nd minute of the match. When 鲁鸿适 came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the 常州飞鹰俱乐部队 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 鲁鸿适 couldn't finish the play. Botafogo AP's Percy Reis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 鲁鸿适 in the 42nd minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Botafogo AP fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 45th minute. Penalty! Percy Reis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from 余崇伟 went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when André Luís Trigo made the kick off in the second half. 60 minutes into the game, 俞瑜坚 was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. 常州飞鹰俱乐部队's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Botafogo AP the free kick. Ragnar Ström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from André Luís Trigo, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. After a defensive mix-up in 常州飞鹰俱乐部队's zone, André Luís Trigo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ragnar Ström came out of the goal and André Luís Trigo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. André Luís Trigo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 81st minute, 鲁鸿适 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 鲁鸿适 kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. In the 85th minute, 鲁鸿适 made a precise shot to the right of Percy Reis. Botafogo AP's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Eriberto Esteves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ragnar Ström having to interfere. After some careless play in the Botafogo AP defense, 鲁鸿适 kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Percy Reis. The Botafogo AP fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Percy Reis should have stopped the shot. 常州飞鹰俱乐部队's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
