Jim Sutton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 8 minutes into the game, Gustavo Blazquez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Auriolam II C.F.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Manchester City the free kick. After 9 played minutes Auriolam II C.F. got a freekick which was hit by Gustavo Blazquez. 12 minutes into the match, Auriolam II C.F.'s goal looked a bit too open when Anthony Carey came free, but Andrei Quijana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jim Sutton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fran Gómez in the 13th minute of the match. In the 19th match minute, Manchester City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clive Hayward to maneuver through the defense. 20 minutes into the match, Manchester City's goal looked a bit too open when Espiridion Morado came free, but Jim Sutton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Auriolam II C.F.'s Andrei Quijana got control of the ball when Stevie Colman tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Manchester City booed when Auriolam II C.F. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lalla Cabrera didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anthony Carey hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Jim Sutton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustavo Blazquez in the 44th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Anthony Carey was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Gustavo Blazquez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Auriolam II C.F.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustavo Blazquez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Espiridion Morado struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Jim Sutton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Auriolam II C.F.. Through an outstanding action, after 61 minutes, Jim Sutton successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 64 minutes into the match, Auriolam II C.F.'s goal looked a bit too open when Anthony Carey came free, but Andrei Quijana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Stevie Colman came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Manchester City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stevie Colman couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Manchester City's Graeme Clegg got a free kick in the 71st minute. In the 81st minute Anthony Carey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrei Quijana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andrei Quijana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anthony Carey in the 83rd minute of the match. A nice corner shot did that Anthony Carey got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Andrei Quijana quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Andrei Quijana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anthony Carey, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. 89 minutes into the match, Auriolam II C.F.'s goal looked a bit too open when Anthony Carey came free, but Andrei Quijana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Fran Gómez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Auriolam II C.F. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Stevie Colman's late challenge caught a Auriolam II C.F.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stevie Colman helped the player get up and apologised. Stevie Colman hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The Auriolam II C.F. players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
