The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wilber McDonald helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Joga Bonito booed when Pegaso was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilber McDonald didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joga Bonito's Bernard Zbikowski couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Pegaso. Joga Bonito's Iwan Hryc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelino Cebo in the 5th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Angelino Cebo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iwan Hryc was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. Iwan Hryc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iosif Cutieru, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Tobiasz Henryk kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. If Angelino Cebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iwan Hryc made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Iosif Cutieru sent off a good shot on target. Joga Bonito's Iwan Hryc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iosif Cutieru in the 18th minute of play. In the 19th minute of the match Dominik Wierzchowski sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arturo Oriol skillfully saved the ball. In the 22nd minute Herbert Literski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arturo Oriol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arturo Oriol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tobiasz Henryk in the 24th minute of play. After 45 played minutes Pegaso got a freekick which was hit by Arnoldo Tibalt. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herbert Literski in the 48th minute of play forced Pegaso's goalkeeper Arturo Oriol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Herbert Literski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes of play, Pegaso's Angelino Cebo made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Iwan Hryc was left in no man's land by his defense there! Iwan Hryc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Urbano Curcio in the 61st minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Joga Bonito's goal looked a bit too open when Iosif Cutieru came free, but Iwan Hryc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tobiasz Henryk could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Arturo Oriol made a huge save. Iwan Hryc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelino Cebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. For all the effort they put into the match, the Joga Bonito players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Pegaso.
