Victor Hess received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Isidoro Valentine tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arnaldo Johansson in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jim Mitchell saved Santos FC from getting behind. 14 minutes into the match, Giuseppe Jewell notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of DZ Blue's Isidoro Valentine. Isidoro Valentine was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. DZ Blue's Isidoro Valentine proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save DZ Blue from getting a goal against them. Victor Hess's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 20thth minute, Isidoro Valentine skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 22 minutes into the match, DZ Blue's goal looked a bit too open when Reyes Ritter came free, but Isidoro Valentine reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. DZ Blue's Isidoro Valentine proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save DZ Blue from getting a goal against them. 30 minutes into the match, Santos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arnaldo Johansson came free, but Jim Mitchell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot 31 in the game by Victor Hess from a close distance when the talented Isidoro Valentine managed to make a qualified save. DZ Blue's players were relieved. In the 32nd minute, Byron Kane hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Torbjörn Engman kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 37 minutes, Isidoro Valentine successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 39 minutes, Victor Hess mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Santos FC and the DZ Blue players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Santos FC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Victor Hess hit a great ball. Jim Mitchell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rudolf Almqvist in the 44th minute of play. 45 minutes had been played when some careless play by Santos FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rudolf Almqvist was slow to take the kick. During this time DZ Blue's players had a chance to rest. The corner led DZ Blue's Rudolf Almqvist to fire away a dangerous shot which Jim Mitchell despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arnaldo Johansson made a kick off. The throw-in from Anthony Wall in the 54th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by DZ Blue's Daniel Hamnberg. 3-0 became the score in the 62nd minute when Giuseppe Jewell elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. If Victor Hess had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Victor Hess hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Ola Holmgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Isidoro Valentine came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Santos FC's Giuseppe Jewell. But to his dismay, Giuseppe Jewell quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Isidoro Valentine made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Hess in the 77th minute of play. Victor Hess received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Isidoro Valentine tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 84th minute, Börje Fristedt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Victor Hess sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ola Holmgren got free with Jim Mitchell in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Giuseppe Jewell put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Isidoro Valentine. DZ Blue's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
