Spectators: 7520 (Terracing: 5641, Seating: 1729, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Lu Shu Yi took the kick off in the first half of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as The Hanging Tree's Justino Feliz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Telmo Trigo. That made the score 1-0 after 5 minutes of play. After having played for 9 minutes, Lu Shu Yi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Hanging Tree's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lu Shu Yi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 11th minute, Lu Shu Yi fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The Hanging Tree's Jacinto Panpili played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cido Vinhas in the 16th minute of play. Telmo Trigo came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by The Hanging Tree's Justino Feliz. But to his dismay, Justino Feliz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Telmo Trigo came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by The Hanging Tree's Lu Shu Yi. But to his dismay, Lu Shu Yi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. When A.A. Francana's Cido Vinhas in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye The Hanging Tree's goalie prevented a goal. In the 28th minute A.A. Francana were awarded a corner. Serginho Alagoano went to the cornerflag to take it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Franklin de Almeida in the 29th minute of play forced The Hanging Tree's goalkeeper Jacinto Panpili to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Telmo Trigo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Justino Feliz in the 33rd minute. In the 36th minute Lu Shu Yi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Telmo Trigo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Telmo Trigo was a little too slow when Lu Shu Yi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 37th minute. The score was now 4-0. In the 40thth minute of the game Lu Shu Yi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but A.A. Francana's Telmo Trigo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Justino Feliz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Telmo Trigo having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 46 minutes, Telmo Trigo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Lu Shu Yi was extremely unlucky when he, in the 47th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Franklin de Almeida made the kick off in the second half. Telmo Trigo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lu Shu Yi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Hanging Tree's Lu Shu Yi got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A.A. Francana's Telmo Trigo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lu Shu Yi in the 64th minute of play. Telmo Trigo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Justino Feliz went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. After 76 minutes of play, The Hanging Tree's Justino Feliz made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Telmo Trigo was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 79th minute, one of The Hanging Tree:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for The Hanging Tree. In the 82nd minute, the referee gave A.A. Francana a penalty. Serginho Alagoano looked confident and blasted the ball into goal by the left post, totally unstoppable for Jacinto Panpili. In the 85th minute, Cido Vinhas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jacinto Panpili was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-2. Conrado Hermon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Telmo Trigo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Lu Shu Yi came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the The Hanging Tree fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lu Shu Yi couldn't finish the play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. The Hanging Tree fully deserved thier win.
