Aguinhas's Faustão Gaspar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Aguinhas from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Aguinhas's Faustão Gaspar got control of the ball when Lungie Rage tried to sneak it across the goal line. Brand Rage fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faustão Gaspar having to interfere. 34 minutes into the game, Arlindo Ortiz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Aguinhas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Israel Balbontín was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Rage F.C.'s Johnny Rage played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cléberson Leme in the 47th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 79th minute, Brand Rage ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Faustão Gaspar was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vitório Lago in the 82nd minute of play forced Rage F.C.'s goalkeeper Johnny Rage to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rage F.C.'s Johnny Rage proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Rage F.C. from getting a goal against them.
