When the match clock showed 14 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Ernesto Damião sped through A.A. Francana's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Telmo Trigo. 17 minutes into the game, ALMA GUERREIRA's Ernesto Damião nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Telmo Trigo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. 22 minutes in the game, Ernesto Damião fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Telmo Trigo having to interfere. After a rather tough play, ALMA GUERREIRA's Ronaldo Souza got a free kick in the 24th minute. Bebeto de Godoi's late challenge caught a A.A. Francana's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bebeto de Godoi helped the player get up and apologised. Bebeto de Godoi hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Serginho Alagoano took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 26th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Vânderson Severo. ALMA GUERREIRA's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. ALMA GUERREIRA's Ulisses Vinhas suffered a sore thigh after 27 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Válbson Soeiro's late challenge caught a ALMA GUERREIRA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After having played for 52 minutes, Oséas Negri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ALMA GUERREIRA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oséas Negri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of A.A. Francana booed when ALMA GUERREIRA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiaguinho Paranaense didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 58 played minutes A.A. Francana got a freekick which was hit by Válbson Soeiro. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ernesto Damião in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Telmo Trigo saved A.A. Francana from getting behind. Ernesto Damião scored 6-0 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Telmo Trigo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Vânderson Severo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Adolfo Leite in the 68th minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, Ernesto Damião notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of A.A. Francana's Telmo Trigo. Telmo Trigo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With his leg Vânderson Severo managed to avoid a goal in the 80thth minute, when A.A. Francana's João Adolfo Leite fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Oscar Terra hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. The ALMA GUERREIRA fans' excitement grew in the 89th match minute when ALMA GUERREIRA's Ernesto Damião looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 10-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 93rd minute, Genílson Alvarenga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the A.A. Francana defense, Ernesto Damião kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Telmo Trigo. The A.A. Francana fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Telmo Trigo should have stopped the shot. ALMA GUERREIRA's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
