The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The Beatles's Hermínio Azevedo got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 27th minute, Emerson de Salles ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rodrigo Itzaina was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Rodrigo Itzaina came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by The Beatles's Enrique Cosme. But to his dismay, Enrique Cosme quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Emerson de Salles managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Beatles's supporters rose to their feet, but Emerson de Salles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodrigo Itzaina breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rodrigo Itzaina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emerson de Salles in the 40th minute of play. Rodrigo Itzaina took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enrique Cosme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Beatles made a substitution. Teodoro Carioca replaced Emerson de Salles. With an all-out effort, The Beatles's Rodrigo Itzaina threw himself towards the right post 71 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Teodoro Carioca, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The supporters of The Beatles booed when RÚSTICOS F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Bizen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rodrigo Itzaina made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Enrique Cosme sent off a good shot on target. 78 minutes into the match, The Beatles's goal looked a bit too open when Leonel Espiridion came free, but Roger Silva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roger Silva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cayetano Paublo in the 84th minute of the match. The Beatles made a substitution. Jorge de Sena replaced Rômulo Baiano. Felix Berbiz hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Roger Silva didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leonel Espiridion went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score.
