After 8 played minutes, Şamaxı Bankirlər's Loğman Hacibabayev shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gervasio Dei came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Şamaxı Bankirlər reached it. In the 10th minute, Älibala Abayev ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gervasio Dei was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After a rather tough play, Chanchos's Rolando Raymond got a free kick in the 13th minute. The audience was convinced that Yaqub Aydinov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gervasio Dei was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. Gervasio Dei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mirsaad Denisov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rolando Raymond was shown his second yellow card after 20 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Chanchos's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Gervasio Dei stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yaqub Aydinov's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. With a little luck, Chanchos's Gervasio Dei got control of the ball when Mirsaad Denisov tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gervasio Dei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Loğman Hacibabayev, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Péter Čech showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidoro Oalo in the 81st minute of the match. Gervasio Dei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yaqub Aydinov in the 84th minute of play. Yavär Tahirov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Yavär Tahirov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Şamaxı Bankirlər's supporters rose to their feet, but Yavär Tahirov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gervasio Dei breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 91st minute, Yaqub Aydinov reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gervasio Dei. The goal made the score 0-6. Gervasio Dei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yaqub Aydinov in the 95th minute of the match. In the 96th minute, Muğan Färzäliyev reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gervasio Dei. The goal made the score 0-7. When the final whistle sounded Şamaxı Bankirlər left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Chanchos.
