But to his dismay, Emilio Montiel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Hans Bocklund managed to get in a good position for a shot. Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's supporters rose to their feet, but Hans Bocklund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alarico Navarro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's Sven-Edvin Lundström got a free kick in the 25th minute. Alarico Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hans Bocklund in the 31st minute of the match. William Lundgren was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. 59 minutes into the match, Emilio Montiel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of William Lundgren. Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emilio Montiel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2.
