De Kasteelheren's Remond Zijden got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 4th minute, Chiel Tamminga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gervasio Dei was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. If Gerrit Ebbinge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Chiel Tamminga came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the De Kasteelheren fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chiel Tamminga couldn't finish the play. De Kasteelheren's Gerben Raatjes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoro Oalo in the 16th minute of play. The De Kasteelheren fans' excitement grew in the 22nd match minute when De Kasteelheren's Gerrit Ebbinge looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 27th minute, Teun Otten hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 29th minute, Amador Janpier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gervasio Dei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remond Zijden in the 30th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remond Zijden in the 35th minute of play forced Chanchos's goalkeeper Gervasio Dei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Chanchos defense, Remond Zijden kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gervasio Dei. The Chanchos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gervasio Dei should have stopped the shot. In the 38th match minute, Chanchos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernesto Reynardo to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 47 minutes, Remond Zijden managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. De Kasteelheren's supporters crossed their fingers, but Remond Zijden was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gerrit Ebbinge made a kick off. When the match clock showed 52 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Henk Hoebe sped through Chanchos's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gervasio Dei. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerrit Ebbinge in the 55th minute of play forced Chanchos's goalkeeper Gervasio Dei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56th minute, Gerrit Ebbinge got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 58th play minutes Gerrit Ebbinge shot 7-0, a short shot which went by Gervasio Dei and just under the crossbar into goal. If Chiel Tamminga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 63 played minutes Chanchos got a freekick which was hit by Ernesto Reynardo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remond Zijden in the 65th minute of play forced Chanchos's goalkeeper Gervasio Dei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Gerrit Ebbinge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 73 played minutes De Kasteelheren got a freekick which was hit by Remond Zijden. If Teun Otten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to De Kasteelheren getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Adriaan Bulder hit a great ball. After having played for 81 minutes, Remond Zijden managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. De Kasteelheren's supporters crossed their fingers, but Remond Zijden was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 85 minutes into the match, Gerrit Ebbinge had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gervasio Dei. Chanchos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gerrit Ebbinge was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 10-0. Gerrit Ebbinge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marnix van Alst might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gervasio Dei. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marnix van Alst ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of De Kasteelheren booed when Chanchos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernesto Reynardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 98 minutes into the match, Chanchos's goal looked a bit too open when Gerrit Ebbinge came free, but Gervasio Dei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. De Kasteelheren walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
