Lázaro Navarro started the match with the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as 武岚泉 kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Karl-Oskar Odén. That made the score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. After 8 minutes, 孔峰钢 mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the 上海浦东戈士队 and the Halcones Azules players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to 上海浦东戈士队 getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. 孔峰钢 hit a great ball. After 9 played minutes, Halcones Azules's Ramiro Mogel shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper 宋桑城 came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Halcones Azules reached it. In the 11th minute Fausto Salvino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 宋桑城 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Lázaro Navarro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of 宋桑城. 上海浦东戈士队's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lázaro Navarro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 19th minute Fausto Salvino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 宋桑城 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 宋桑城 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lázaro Navarro in the 19th minute of play. The long shot by 杨浩铮 in the 24th minute really tested Karl-Oskar Odén's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lázaro Navarro in the 26th minute of play forced 上海浦东戈士队's goalkeeper 宋桑城 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 上海浦东戈士队's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by 杨浩铮 in the 28th minute. After 30 minutes Halcones Azules's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was 杨浩铮 who took care of the corner kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in 上海浦东戈士队 fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 32nd minute. Penalty! 35 minutes into the game, Fausto Salvino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. 宋桑城 was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, Halcones Azules's Karl-Oskar Odén got control of the ball when 吕晨剑 tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 40 minutes, 武岚泉 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 上海浦东戈士队's supporters crossed their fingers, but 武岚泉 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 42nd minute 武岚泉 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Oskar Odén saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lázaro Navarro struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. 宋桑城 didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Halcones Azules. 44 minutes into the match, Wilfredo Naelio notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of 上海浦东戈士队's 宋桑城. 宋桑城 was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 吕晨剑 charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed 吕晨剑 the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Halcones Azules booed when 上海浦东戈士队 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. 吕晨剑 didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

In the 51st minute of the match, Fausto Salvino got a very nice opportunity to score, but 宋桑城 was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Fausto Salvino took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised 宋桑城. 宋桑城 dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. 宋桑城 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lázaro Navarro, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. 杨浩铮's late challenge caught a Halcones Azules's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. 杨浩铮 helped the player get up and apologised. 杨浩铮 hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lázaro Navarro in the 61st minute of play forced 上海浦东戈士队's goalkeeper 宋桑城 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 宋桑城 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilfredo Naelio, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Lázaro Navarro took a quick shot and it went in 1-6 without a chance for 宋桑城 to make any attempt to save it. Halcones Azules's Donato Baleren was substituted for Abelardo Artizar. Halcones Azules's Fidel Oalo was substituted for Wilfredo Naelio. After a rather tough play, Halcones Azules's Fausto Salvino got a free kick in the 80th minute. Halcones Azules's Feliberto Azubeli was substituted for Fausto Salvino. 上海浦东戈士队's defense didn't have a chance, in the 84th minute, when Lázaro Navarro scored to the left of an out of position 宋桑城, making the score, 1-7. 上海浦东戈士队's 宋桑城 proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save 上海浦东戈士队 from getting a goal against them. 宋桑城 made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Feliberto Azubeli sent off a good shot on target. After 92nd play minutes Lázaro Navarro shot 1-8, a short shot which went by 宋桑城 and just under the crossbar into goal. If 武岚泉 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
