In the 25thth minute of the game Walter Casagrande who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mukifus FSCMZ's Caco Rocha was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ®'s Walmir Dias proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ® from getting a goal against them. Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ®'s Walmir Dias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Lendaa in the 30th minute of play. 30 minutes into the game, Eliseu Sarmento was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mukifus FSCMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ® the free kick. A collision led to Mukifus FSCMZ getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Eliseu Sarmento hit a great ball. Caco Rocha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafa Coutinho in the 31st minute of the match. When Rafa Coutinho came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ® fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rafa Coutinho couldn't finish the play. Adilson Pimenta hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. 42 minutes into the match, Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ®'s goal looked a bit too open when Zé Lendaa came free, but Walmir Dias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Walmir Dias stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zé Lendaa's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. When Luís Fabiano Varela fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ®'s protests and gave Luís Fabiano Varela a yellow card for diving instead. Luís Fabiano Varela kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Walter Casagrande stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Walmir Dias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Lendaa, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Walter Casagrande fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caco Rocha having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Mukifus FSCMZ's João Paulo Neiva got a free kick in the 70th minute. After 75 minutes of play Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ®'s Luís Fabiano Varela was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Luís Fabiano Varela kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Zé Lendaa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Walmir Dias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Waldemar Sabóia in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Walmir Dias prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match was over Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ® could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Mukifus FSCMZ throughout the match.
