Karl-Oskar Odén didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rafa Coutinho went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Walmir Dias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardo Kauldi in the 14th minute of the match. If Fausto Salvino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Walter Casagrande sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Walter Casagrande came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ® fans jumped to their feet. Adrianinho Furtado charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adrianinho Furtado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 34 played minutes, Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ®'s Róbson Sergipano shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Karl-Oskar Odén came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ® reached it. 37 minutes into the match, Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ®'s goal looked a bit too open when Wilfredo Naelio came free, but Walmir Dias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karl-Oskar Odén showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Walter Casagrande, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Wilfredo Naelio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Walmir Dias made a huge save. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The wind increased when Fausto Salvino made the kick off in the second half. Rafa Coutinho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Karl-Oskar Odén having to make a save. 52 minutes into the game, Walter Casagrande lined in a short shot 1-2 behind a frustrated Karl-Oskar Odén. Adrianinho Furtado hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Wilfredo Naelio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Walmir Dias was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Walter Casagrande in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Karl-Oskar Odén prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Karl-Oskar Odén made an important save on a dangerous shot by Walter Casagrande in the 58th minute. In the 60th minute, Róbson Sergipano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rafa Coutinho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fausto Salvino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wilfredo Naelio was shown his second yellow card after 71 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Halcones Azules's Donato Baleren was substituted for Ricardo Kauldi. Halcones Azules made a substitution. Feliberto Azubeli replaced Fidel Oalo. In the 73rd match minute, Halcones Azules was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilfredo Naelio to maneuver through the defense. When Donato Baleren fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Halcones Azules's protests and gave Donato Baleren a yellow card for diving instead. Walter Casagrande's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Karl-Oskar Odén read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Halcones Azules's Donato Baleren got his second yellow card of the match in the 79th minute. The referee ordered Donato Baleren off the ground. After a rather tough play, Halcones Azules's Donato Baleren got a free kick in the 79th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Walter Casagrande in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Karl-Oskar Odén prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fausto Salvino's late challenge caught a Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ®'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fausto Salvino helped the player get up and apologised. Fausto Salvino hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. The Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ® supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ® would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
