An unexpectedly hard shot by Moises Marcones in the 14th minute of play forced Magallanes's goalkeeper Tomás Las Casas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emilio Formoso was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 17 minutes into the match. The referee gave ManagerZone Academy a penalty, 18 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Gregorio Senio, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Magallanes's Tomás Las Casas. 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Fulco Spöerer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Magallanes's supporters rose to their feet, but Fulco Spöerer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Di Bu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Magallanes's attentive Luis Aravena managed to snatch the ball when Danilo Martinez made a throw-in in the 24th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice moves Moises Marcones could shoot a difficult shot in the 26th minute, which Tomás Las Casas however easily saved by the left post. If Fulco Spöerer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Danilo Martinez charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Danilo Martinez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Di Bu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Gregorio Senio hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Di Bu was out of position in the 85 minute of play, and Fulco Spöerer capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Fulco Spöerer really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. Di Bu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fulco Spöerer's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. The supporters of Magallanes booed when ManagerZone Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Prospero Elija didn't get a good kick on the ball. Di Bu made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Fulco Spöerer sent off a good shot on target. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
