The corner ended in Archibaldo Ahumada almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but ManagerZone Academy's Di Bu did a great save. Di Bu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denis Law in the 14th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Nardo Torrecilla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Natalio Jacob sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 20th minute of the match, Natalio Jacob tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Fabien Barthez saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a rather tough play, ManagerZone Academy's Rodolfo Jaunzuria got a free kick in the 24th minute. If Steve Hyuga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Natalio Jacob during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, ManagerZone Academy's Natalio Jacob got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Pablo-Enrique Erauzquin took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Di Bu. Di Bu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After a rather tough play, AFC United's Denis Irwin got a free kick in the 39th minute. With an all-out effort, ManagerZone Academy's Fabien Barthez threw himself towards the right post 41 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Steve Hyuga, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 42 played minutes AFC United got a freekick which was hit by Eleder Borrellino. Denis Law hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Fabien Barthez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gregorio Senio went, in the 48th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Denis Law was the one to do the kick off. In the 73rd match minute, ManagerZone Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Natalio Jacob to maneuver through the defense. Steve Hyuga scored 2-1 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fabien Barthez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Denis Law got free with Di Bu in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Denis Law kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Di Bu. That made the score 2-2 in the 83 minute of play. Prospero Elija kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. ManagerZone Academy were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
