With an all-out effort, Rivermania FC's Jacek Giertych threw himself towards the right post 3 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mauricio Sergi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Nereo Fresco succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 5th playminute. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Borys Motyl managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gliwicka Torcida's supporters rose to their feet, but Borys Motyl was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alejandro Truylos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 9 minutes, Adam Tomiczek mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gliwicka Torcida and the Rivermania FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Gliwicka Torcida getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Adam Tomiczek hit a great ball. If Nereo Fresco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jacek Giertych came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Rivermania FC's Mauricio Sergi. But to his dismay, Mauricio Sergi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Nereo Fresco received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jacek Giertych came out and tried to block the shot, but Nereo Fresco slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 14th minute. In the 17th minute, Rivermania FC's Nereo Fresco ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jacek Giertych. Jacek Giertych yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. If Korneliusz Szpakowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Szczepan Miazga hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. After 25 played minutes Rivermania FC got a freekick which was hit by Nereo Fresco. Nereo Fresco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Jacek Giertych made a huge save. 35 minutes into the game, Nereo Fresco recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jacek Giertych. Nereo Fresco showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-0. A collision led to Gliwicka Torcida getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Szczepan Miazga hit a great ball. Jacek Giertych made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauricio Sergi in the 41st minute of play. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Mauricio Sergi took a quick shot and it went in 6-0 without a chance for Jacek Giertych to make any attempt to save it. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The wind increased when Mauricio Sergi made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Nereo Fresco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacek Giertych saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 52nd minute, Mauricio Sergi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nereo Fresco in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacek Giertych prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Korneliusz Szpakowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pastor Lorencio in the 59th minute of play forced Gliwicka Torcida's goalkeeper Jacek Giertych to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 60 minutes into the match, Rivermania FC's goalkeeper Alejandro Truylos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Borys Motyl. Adam Tomiczek could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Alejandro Truylos made a huge save. Gliwicka Torcida's Jacek Giertych played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nereo Fresco in the 66th minute of play. In the 79th minute, Nereo Fresco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Nereo Fresco came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Rivermania FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nereo Fresco couldn't finish the play. 84 minutes into the match, Rivermania FC's goal looked a bit too open when Adam Tomiczek came free, but Alejandro Truylos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Gliwicka Torcida's Korneliusz Szpakowski got a free kick in the 86th minute. Jacek Giertych showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nereo Fresco in the 92nd minute of the match. After 94 played minutes, Gliwicka Torcida's Witold Rostow shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alejandro Truylos came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Gliwicka Torcida reached it. Nereo Fresco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacek Giertych having to interfere. Rivermania FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Gliwicka Torcida for a fine match.
