The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ove Hake made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Honorato Soveral sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hans Tidén in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ove Hake saved Nils Liedholm IF from getting behind. Nils Liedholm IF were furious when Marc Juhlin was red carded, 12 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Nils Liedholm IF fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 12th minute. Penalty! 17 minutes into the match, Honorato Soveral dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ove Hake, 1-0. 20 minutes into the match, Arne Rolfsson dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ove Hake, 2-0. After a rather tough play, Rossoneri XI's Arne Rolfsson got a free kick in the 24th minute. Honorato Soveral succeeded in the game's 27th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-0. The supporters of Rossoneri XI booed when Nils Liedholm IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edvin Bergkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ove Hake made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Honorato Soveral sent off a good shot on target. Ove Hake was out of position in the 37 minute of play, and Oden Torsson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Oden Torsson really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. 41 minutes into the match, Nils Liedholm IF's goal looked a bit too open when Honorato Soveral came free, but Ove Hake reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nils Liedholm IF's Ove Hake played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Honorato Soveral in the 42nd minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Honorato Soveral was the one to do the kick off. Ove Hake took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hans Tidén, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Hans Tidén managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rossoneri XI's supporters rose to their feet, but Hans Tidén was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ove Hake breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hans Tidén in the 56th minute of play forced Nils Liedholm IF's goalkeeper Ove Hake to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th minute, Oden Torsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joel Odman took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 58th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ove Hake. Nils Liedholm IF's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Nils Liedholm IF's zone, Hans Tidén stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ove Hake came out of the goal and Hans Tidén tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Honorato Soveral's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ove Hake was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. Oden Torsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Hans Tidén put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Ove Hake. After 75 played minutes Rossoneri XI got a freekick which was hit by Arne Rolfsson. Ove Hake came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Rossoneri XI's Honorato Soveral. But to his dismay, Honorato Soveral quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. 85 minutes into the game, Hans Tidén cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Ove Hake was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nils Liedholm IF's Ove Hake played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Honorato Soveral in the 88th minute of play. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Nils Liedholm IF's goalkeeper Ove Hake, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zebastian Österlund during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Zebastian Österlund hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Rossoneri XI had played much better football throughout.
