After a defensive mix-up in Ema City's zone, Renatinho Rodrigues stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ksawery Dylla came out of the goal and Renatinho Rodrigues tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 7 minutes into the match, Ema City's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Fabiano Félix came free, but Ksawery Dylla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th match minute, Ema City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ryszard Marosz to maneuver through the defense. Ema City's Ksawery Dylla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geovani Borges in the 17th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Geovani Borges notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Ema City's Ksawery Dylla. Ksawery Dylla was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ksawery Dylla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geovani Borges in the 22nd minute of play. Bernard Komornicki hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. 28 minutes into the match, Figueira SC FSCMZ's Marcelo Medeiros broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 29th match minute, Figueira SC FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reinaldo Carvalho to maneuver through the defense. Beniamin Paraszczuk hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Ksawery Dylla came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Figueira SC FSCMZ's Geovani Borges. But to his dismay, Geovani Borges quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 40th minute, Radowit Siwy made a precise shot to the right of Gino Hoffmann. Figueira SC FSCMZ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2.

Figueira SC FSCMZ's Evaristo Meira was substituted for Evandro do Valle. Zula Jeziorkowski scored 3-2 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gino Hoffmann, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bernard Komornicki's late challenge caught a Figueira SC FSCMZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bernard Komornicki helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Figueira SC FSCMZ booed when Ema City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evaristo Meira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ksawery Dylla read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. When Luís Fabiano Félix came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Figueira SC FSCMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luís Fabiano Félix couldn't finish the play. Zula Jeziorkowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 72 played minutes Figueira SC FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Afonsinho Donatello. A collision led to Ema City getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Bartosz Podwojski hit a great ball. Bernard Komornicki lost his temper 80 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 80 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ema City! Ksawery Dylla had in the 82ndth minute some difficulties stopping Marcelo Medeiros's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 87th minute, Barnaba Jeziorkowski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal.
