In the 47th minute Honorato Soveral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Billy Pihl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Rossoneri XI were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Honorato Soveral made the kick off in the second half. Rossoneri XI's Andy Berg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentin Salqvist in the 52nd minute of play. After 82 minutes, Oden Torsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rossoneri XI and the Zlatan BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 88th minute, Valentin Salqvist ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Andy Berg was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Zlatan BK's Billy Pihl proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Zlatan BK from getting a goal against them. In the 94th minute Valentin Salqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andy Berg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Rossoneri XI eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
