Spectators: 7506 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Olli-Pekka Suoste got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the game, Clive Politiek was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Albirex Niigata FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Papillon AC the free kick. A collision led to Albirex Niigata FC getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Clive Politiek hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Papillon AC's Olli-Pekka Suoste slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Prime Lee. That made the score 1-0 after 5 minutes of play. In the 15th minute, Olli-Pekka Suoste left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Papillon AC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 18th minute, Papillon AC's Olli-Pekka Suoste dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. 21 minutes into the match, Albirex Niigata FC's goalkeeper Prime Lee had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oscar Urki. In the 22nd minute, Teofilo Milian fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Olli-Pekka Suoste put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Prime Lee. Olli-Pekka Suoste who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 28thth minute tested the skills of Prime Lee when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 28 played minutes Albirex Niigata FC got a freekick which was hit by Mohammad Lee. In the 30th match minute, Papillon AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Severino Niva to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Victoriano Mikelats during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Narciso Froylan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ali Choy, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. After 40 minutes of play Papillon AC's Victoriano Mikelats was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Papillon AC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Victoriano Mikelats hit a great ball. Olli-Pekka Suoste's late challenge caught a Albirex Niigata FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Olli-Pekka Suoste helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Papillon AC's Olli-Pekka Suoste got a free kick in the 43rd minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Ali Choy made the kick off in the second half. Prime Lee showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teofilo Milian, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. The supporters of Papillon AC booed when Albirex Niigata FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicholas Tan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Albirex Niigata FC's Nicholas Tan got a free kick in the 59th minute. When Timoteo Herrera came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Papillon AC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Timoteo Herrera couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teofilo Milian in the 65th minute of play forced Albirex Niigata FC's goalkeeper Prime Lee to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Prime Lee showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gonzalo Haritzeder in the 66th minute of the match. The supporters of Papillon AC booed when Albirex Niigata FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mohammad Lee didn't get a good kick on the ball. 68 minutes into the match, Milton Friedman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Prime Lee. Albirex Niigata FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Milton Friedman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. After 79 minutes of play, Papillon AC's Gonzalo Haritzeder made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Prime Lee was left in no man's land by his defense there! Prime Lee didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gonzalo Haritzeder went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. 94 minutes into the match, Albirex Niigata FC's goal looked a bit too open when Teofilo Milian came free, but Prime Lee reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 96th minute Gonzalo Haritzeder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prime Lee saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Papillon AC fully deserved thier win.
