Christoph Jurk came out of the goal and Saul Iruinea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Alijilán returns fans' excitement grew in the 17th match minute when Alijilán returns's Saul Iruinea looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Sebastian Gehlen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roque Clementi having to interfere. Julius-Lasse Eichenauer hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. A collision led to Alijilán returns getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Wang Cheng Xiang hit a great ball. Patrik Andres could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Roque Clementi made a huge save. Sebastian Gehlen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Saul Iruinea's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Christoph Jurk was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Saul Iruinea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christoph Jurk having to interfere. 46 minutes into the game, Rolando Olayo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sebastian Gehlen was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Jimeno Seme left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Ronny Felich made in the 60th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Robin Wörns. In the 67th minute, Alijilán returns's Wang Cheng Xiang dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. Roque Clementi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrik Andres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 80 minutes into the game, Wang Cheng Xiang cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Christoph Jurk was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 91st minute Sebastian Gehlen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roque Clementi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
