Saul Iruinea started the match with the kick off. Juan Madera was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 8 minutes into the match. Nicholas Tan shot the penalty kick right outside the post. The throw-in from Joel Hian in the 15th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Alijilán returns's Cesar Ibanez. 16 minutes into the match, Albirex Niigata FC's goal looked a bit too open when Saul Iruinea came free, but Prime Lee reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Angel Paez's late challenge caught a Albirex Niigata FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Angel Paez helped the player get up and apologised. Wang Cheng Xiang could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Prime Lee made a huge save. Prime Lee made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wang Cheng Xiang in the 23rd minute. Prime Lee took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saul Iruinea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Prime Lee was a little too slow when Wang Cheng Xiang got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 35th minute. The score was now 2-0. Albirex Niigata FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Saul Iruinea 40 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-0. Alijilán returns's Roque Clementi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ali Choy in the 45th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The wind increased when Ali Choy made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Daniel Chuan during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 59th minute, Daniel Chuan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 61 minutes into the match, Saul Iruinea notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Albirex Niigata FC's Prime Lee. Prime Lee was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 63rd match minute, Albirex Niigata FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Hian to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Saul Iruinea in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Prime Lee saved Albirex Niigata FC from getting behind. Prime Lee showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saul Iruinea in the 68th minute of the match. In the 69th minute, Wang Cheng Xiang ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Prime Lee was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Roque Clementi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ali Choy in the 72nd minute. After a rather tough play, Albirex Niigata FC's Mohammad Lee got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Prime Lee showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wang Cheng Xiang, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 77th minute Wang Cheng Xiang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prime Lee saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Prime Lee didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wang Cheng Xiang went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. Albirex Niigata FC's Prime Lee played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saul Iruinea in the 81st minute of play. Prime Lee made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saul Iruinea in the 85th minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, Albirex Niigata FC's goal looked a bit too open when Wang Cheng Xiang came free, but Prime Lee reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 87 minutes into the match, Albirex Niigata FC's goal looked a bit too open when Saul Iruinea came free, but Prime Lee reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Saul Iruinea scored 9-0 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Prime Lee, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alijilán returns walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
