Nicholas Tan charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After some careless play in the Albirex Niigata FC defense, Cosme Adames kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Prime Lee. The Albirex Niigata FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Prime Lee should have stopped the shot. Hamir Keng hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ali Choy made a kick off. Marco Sorribes charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
