After 35 minutes, Zygmunt Tokarczyk mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Real Madrid and the Poli Timisoara players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sebastian Gehlen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Szymon Modrzewski made a huge save. 42 minutes into the match, Real Madrid's goal looked a bit too open when Patrik Andres came free, but Szymon Modrzewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Real Madrid getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Stasio Nowacki hit a great ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aureliusz Czeszejko made a kick off. Christoph Jurk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marian Topolski in the 51st minute of the match. 56 minutes into the match, Sebastian Gehlen notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of Real Madrid's Szymon Modrzewski. Szymon Modrzewski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Stasio Nowacki charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stasio Nowacki the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Poli Timisoara fully deserved thier win.
