The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Merlin Abisheganaden fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Szymon Modrzewski having to interfere. After 6 minutes, Adam Kutas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Real Madrid and the Albirex Niigata FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Albirex Niigata FC booed when Real Madrid was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adam Kutas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Prime Lee showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aureliusz Czeszejko in the 13th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the game, Klement Setara recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Prime Lee. Klement Setara showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After 25 played minutes Albirex Niigata FC got a freekick which was hit by Khai Choy. An unexpectedly hard shot by Klement Setara in the 28th minute of play forced Albirex Niigata FC's goalkeeper Prime Lee to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Prime Lee didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Klement Setara went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Klement Setara scored 3-0 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Prime Lee, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 42nd minute, Klement Setara left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Real Madrid fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Merlin Abisheganaden to strike the kick off in the second half. Szymon Modrzewski was out of position in the 53 minute of play, and Merlin Abisheganaden capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Merlin Abisheganaden really showed his touch with that goal: 4-1. Prime Lee showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Klement Setara, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. 73 minutes into the match, Klement Setara had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Prime Lee. Albirex Niigata FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Klement Setara was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. Tomasz Rykaczewski kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Albirex Niigata FC's Prime Lee played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aureliusz Czeszejko in the 88th minute of play. Prime Lee came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Real Madrid's Klement Setara. But to his dismay, Klement Setara quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-2. Sebastian Skaradowski charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sebastian Skaradowski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sebastian Skaradowski kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Real Madrid were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Albirex Niigata FC for a fine match.
