The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Coice de Mula's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Samurai Champions FC the free kick. Luís Eduardo Rossi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leopoldo Velasco, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. 9 minutes into the match, Leopoldo Velasco dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Luís Eduardo Rossi, 1-0. 12 minutes into the match, Coice de Mula's goalkeeper Luís Eduardo Rossi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tony Viana. Fernando Lara hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. When Kiko Antunes came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Samurai Champions FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kiko Antunes couldn't finish the play. After having played for 19 minutes, Kiko Antunes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Samurai Champions FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kiko Antunes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Coice de Mula's defense didn't have a chance, in the 27th minute, when Alex Toledo scored to the left of an out of position Luís Eduardo Rossi, making the score, 3-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Davi Loureiro during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Samurai Champions FC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Davi Loureiro hit a great ball. After 33 minutes of play, Samurai Champions FC's Tony Viana made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luís Eduardo Rossi was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Tony Viana in the 40th minute of play forced Coice de Mula's goalkeeper Luís Eduardo Rossi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eugênio Travassos hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match.

Luís Eduardo Rossi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alex Toledo, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. In the 62nd minute, Jardel Mula got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 68 minutes into the game, Carlos Eduardo Correia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Luís Eduardo Rossi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luís Eduardo Rossi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leopoldo Velasco in the 73rd minute of the match.
