The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Carsten Klaasens made a precise shot to the right of Tarcio Bulisani. Toa Toa 4EVER's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Felipe Cerezo took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jurjen van der Gun. Jurjen van der Gun dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Fellipe Moraes's late challenge caught a Seagulls's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fellipe Moraes helped the player get up and apologised. Fellipe Moraes hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. 17 minutes into the match, Toa Toa 4EVER's goal looked a bit too open when Reinhard Kloppenburg came free, but Tarcio Bulisani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joep Haremeijer's late challenge caught a Toa Toa 4EVER's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joep Haremeijer helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Seagulls getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Joep Haremeijer hit a great ball. Joep Haremeijer kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. In the 24th minute, Toa Toa 4EVER's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Roger Popken fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Henk van Persie took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Tarcio Bulisani to make any attempt to save it. In the 31st minute, Reinhard Kloppenburg made a precise shot to the right of Tarcio Bulisani. Toa Toa 4EVER's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Jurjen van der Gun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oswaldo de Sousa in the 34th minute of the match. Jurjen van der Gun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolas Senna in the 35th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Seagulls's goal looked a bit too open when Oswaldo de Sousa came free, but Jurjen van der Gun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oswaldo de Sousa in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jurjen van der Gun prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jurjen van der Gun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oswaldo de Sousa in the 42nd minute of play. Jurjen van der Gun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oswaldo de Sousa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Felipe Cerezo to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Toa Toa 4EVER's Nilson Gaspar got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 58th minute, Felipe Cerezo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jurjen van der Gun. The goal made the score 3-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Toa Toa 4EVER's Oswaldo de Sousa slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jurjen van der Gun. That made the score 3-3 after 65 minutes of play. Seagulls's Jurjen van der Gun proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Seagulls from getting a goal against them. 75 minutes into the game, Felipe Cerezo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jurjen van der Gun. Felipe Cerezo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-4. Oswaldo de Sousa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Jurjen van der Gun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Reinhard Kloppenburg fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Seagulls's protests and gave Reinhard Kloppenburg a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Seagulls getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Reinhard Kloppenburg hit a great ball. Nicolas Senna's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jurjen van der Gun read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Jurjen van der Gun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oswaldo de Sousa in the 89th minute of the match. After 91 minutes of play, Seagulls's Reinhard Kloppenburg made it 4-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tarcio Bulisani was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jurjen van der Gun made an important save on a dangerous shot by Oswaldo de Sousa in the 95th minute. Seagulls succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Toa Toa 4EVER had controlled the match.
